How to Join Invited Testing?
We distribute test builds through the official Google Play Internal Testing and Apple TestFlight channels, both of which are invite-only. Choose the option that matches your device; we do not offer a direct iOS build download.
Android 2.0.1+16 | Google Play Internal Testing
Send us the email address for your Google account (Gmail) and we will add you to the Google Play internal tester list; after accepting the invite, install the test build from the Play Store.
iOS 2.0.1 (16) | TestFlight Testing
Send us the email address for your Apple account (Apple ID); after receiving the TestFlight invite, install TestFlight first, then install the VegiSearch test build.
System Requirements & Permissions
- Android: 7.0 (Nougat / API 24) or higher (Android 10+ recommended), installed via Google Play Internal Testing
- iOS: iOS 15 or higher; TestFlight and an accepted invitation are required
- Camera Permission: Used solely for live EAN/UPC barcode recognition; no photos stored or uploaded
- Network Connection: Fully supports offline barcode lookup (6,932 built-in items); network required for sign-in and preference sync
- Feedback Channel: Report unlisted products or corrections directly to support@vegisearch.com
